The Works and Transport Ministry is advising of temporary traffic disruptions this weekend along the Beetham highway, as they carry out repair works on the eastbound lane, just after the lighthouse.
The ministry says the disruptions will begin Friday evening at 7 pm and should end at 7 pm on Sunday July 21st.
Motorists are advised that the westbound lane of the highway will be a dual carriageway, with two lanes heading west, and one lane heading east, between the light house and Abbatoir Road.
Caribbean Airlines has advised that due to the adverse weather conditions currently affecting Trinidad and Tobago, the following flights for October 19, 2018 were delayed for between one to three hours.

BW 448 Port of Spain to Barbados
BW 449 Barbados to Port of Spain
BW 550 Port of Spain to JFK, New York
The airline is advising passengers are advised that these services are delayed and NOT cancelled.
The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Solomon Hochoy Highway-South Bound, in the vicinity of Gasparillo Bypass and the Brian Lara Stadium Access Route from Thursday.
It says this has become necessary in order to facilitate road rehabilitation and stabilization works which will commence on Thursday 30th August, 2018 and end on Sunday 2nd September, 2018 between the hours of 9pm and 5am.

The management of the Port Authority is apologising to the travelling public for the disruptions in service over the last few weeks.
The Port Authority says it is making decisions in the interest of the safety of passengers.

The Defence Force is seeking to alert the public of traffic delays along the Long Circular Road today, due to a military procession for the late Lance Corporal Daniel Gill.
Gill was killed in a vehicular accident on Sunday, March 26th on the Diego Martin Highway.
His funeral takes place at 10 am today at the Church of Assumption in Maraval, followed by a military procession from the church to the Military Cemetary on Long Circular Road.
The procession is expected to run from 12 noon to 1 pm.
The United States Embassy is urging citizens who intend to apply for business and tourist visas during the summer period, to do so as soon as possible, as it warns of possible delays.
The Embassy has issued a statement saying it expects applications to surge by 35 percent.
